Fatherhood check-in

That's right! My wife and I welcomed our son months ago. My wife has truly exemplified what it means to be a kind and loving mother. I love seeing this previously untapped part of her. He brings out all of the best of us both (My Dad jokes are on point...which admittedly is probably not a point for celebration).

That said...he is not crawling yet. With each bit of growth, we delight at the moment but realize the new challenge ahead. Some examples:

• growing teeth while nursing

• understanding he has legs during a diaper change

• understanding there is something between the legs during a bath..etc.

Whether he starts crawling, walking, saying 'Dada' or 'Mama' (preferably in that order on the latter), it will be both more delight...and more challenge...for us both.
